Grandpa Kline's Poppycock {Not Your Average Caramel Corn}

Yesterday, many mothers had their own special time of being honored. And so, we share with you a little ode that honors our very own.

When you see a mother standing in the grocery store,
I'm certain she'll assure you that her life is not a bore.
Although she's often busy doing things that may seem trite,
Understand that her job consists of tasks done out of sight.

She spends time in the kitchen making meals and cleaning pans,
Then heads off to the laundry with a stack of shirts and pants.
She may be found outside tending gardens in the light,
Then reading favorite stories, tucking in the kids at night.

Her job has no description, no awards, and no fame,
Instead she makes an impact by the character in her name.
She's known as the giver and on her we depend,
She is our mother dearest, a confidant, our friend.
