Cream Cheese and Corn Dip
Do you ever have those days where everything unhealthy sounds so yummy? This dip falls into that category, however you can opt to leave out the butter and use 1/3 fat cream cheese and serve with baked chips or crackers. This is a favorite! It is popular among the men, especially (although the ladies aren't always shy about it either). I usually adapt and don't always add all the butter it calls for! Just soften the cream cheese (defrost setting on the microwave) and add the corn and peppers (or leave out the peppers if you like). With football season around the corner, add this to your tailgate menu!
Ingredients:
- 2 boxes of Cream Cheese
- 2 cans of whole corn, drained (or equivalent of frozen corn, defrosted)
- 1/2 jar jalapenos, drained and chopped (optional)
- 1 stick of butter, melted (I use half of this or less!)
- Frito Scoopers or another corn-style chip
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Bake until bubbly.
- Serve with Frito Scoopers
*If you are short on time this may be heated in the microwave!
