Take Me Out to the Ballgame

By Every Tradition · Every Tradition
Spring and baseball go well together when you live in a college town. There is nothing like spending an afternoon watching the Clemson Tigers play, and this time of year, baseball is the sport. Our family has enjoyed going to games for years. I even remember Dad catching a fly ball with his bare hands when we were younger. He had a bruised hand for days! We kids didn't care too much about the game, so we spent most of our time rolling down the hill behind the stadium.

I love baseball games because I have a nostalgic feeling as I walk in the stadium. The sound of "Take me out to the Ballgame" always sings over the hustle of busy bodies buying peanuts or a hot dog and a coke. You might even try your hand at our homemade POPPYCOCK, which we prefer to cracker jacks. And if you are lucky, you will run into the Clemson Tiger!
